Introduction

Welcome!

 

This site is an introduction to mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhism and may provide tools for one's journey in this life, regardless of whether one is religious or not religious.  We all have our own journeys, and if yours has led you here, I hope you learn something and benefit in some way.

This site was originally created as an easily accessible personal reference based on notes I made while studying mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhism (for the record, while I practice and incorporate things here into my life, I do not consider myself a "Buddhist" or an expert on "Buddhism"). These notes are basic overviews, and there are many resources out there to explore everything here in much more depth if one so chooses.

 

This site is not intended to provide medical advice (read website disclaimer) nor is it intended to "convert" anyone to Buddhism or any ideology- it is about exposure to ideas and practices that may be useful for daily living, regardless of whether one is religious or areligious. I periodically revise these notes, and perhaps they may be useful to anyone exploring mindfulness, meditation, or Buddhism.
